Spent a few hours with Bob Hamilton a couple months ago and he gave me some Box Elder, the bowls have been partially turned and just waiting for them to dry to finish. He also gave me a couple slabs of box elder burl. Perfect size to cut into pen blank so here are the first 2. Both double dyed. The pencil is for my grandaughter who decided she needed to go back to school to get anywhere in life and the 2nd is the first of a number of bowtie pens I got on sale to send to our Canadian military.

The next 2 are a couple wedding pens. The daughter of one of the wife's cousins is getting married and they chose an invitation with a stag's head and antlers on it. So she had to have one of the cartridge pens to go with it. 30-06 shell with antler cap. The other one is white truestone with gold filigree to keep her mother happy.
