I have been toying with the idea of learning to do my own engraving.

Some of the planes seen on line with even just a simple engraving look great.

Excellent article. Totally in line with my experience. Sharp solves most problems! And a chunk of wax on the bench most of the other ones!

Love the docking station idea!

I have a few different pieces used for this. A dock is especially important with an electric router.
