I would like to share a Storage /media cab i made for my wife and i it will replace the one bought from Ikea when i first moved here.I really like the i bought from Cherokee Lumber.Easy to work Kiln dried beautifully.Hand planed with LN A2 steel and David finick irons i bought from him years ago.Everything is alder except door panels are cedar of lebenon.Finish is shellac on inside and laquer outside.
I also added some pics of the back.I thought some may be interesed in the construction. Thanks for looking.Aj

Nice design for the cabinet Andrew. The alder does look nice. At first glance I thought the knots/inclusions on the door panels were the pulls and they gave it a rustic look. :)

Thanks guys, I still need to nail on some wood for the back and make up the shelves. It just got extra hot here so its sitting in the house.I was concerned the 106 + temp would warp the doors or case.
My wife thinks I brought in so I could work on the Davis and wells saw.Silly girls.:)

Great workmanship! That furniture should age wonderfully. Nice wood and finish.
