Picked up this cart from a local business yesterday, it's very close to the one I used when I worked at a lumber yard out of high school.
It was free so I decide to save it from the landfill or getting turned into a coffee table.
The big wheel is 12inches and still has rubber.
i will rebuild it with white oak and put it back in service in my shop.
I not a tru lumber cart but I like it.Wish I could see the makers stamp better.Ring a bell with anyone?

It's a Jake's Factory Cart-they were located in Nashville, TN. These carts are quite popular, and pricey in restored condition these days.

Took only a year to get to restoreing this Jakes lumber cart.Used up the last my Hickory And glad to be done with it.I scaled it down a bit.But very happy how it came out.The wheels have roller bearing that got cleaned and regreased.I also used some old steel cut nails and bronze roofing nails that I've been hoarding. The poles in the corners are some old growth Dougfir that I've been saving.
