Mounting Aluminum to plastic

I'm creating an aluminum plate (Using Cermark) and mounting onto the thick black ADA Rowmark plastic. What is the best method to bond these materials. Will mostly be inside, but the room does have a retractable roof and will be exposed to the elements from time to time.

VHB tape. You can get it in different thicknesses, just get the thickness you need. It won't come off. Ever.

I use VHB to attach to the wall, but to bond the aluminum to the plastic, I keep a roll of 12" wide 3M 467MP. Nice flat, smooth bond.
