Spiral Cutterhead for Craftex CX20

Am contemplating moving to a spiral cutter head. The Grizzly G0454 looks like the same machine with minor differences. I actually use the grizzly manual, as it is far superior.
Anyone know if a spiral cutter head for the G0454 will fit the CX20?

Hi Mike,

If you're getting the byrd head versus the grizzly head, Byrd tools has a page of machines they support on their website, www.byrdtool.com. I'd check, and if your make/model isn't listed I'd call them and ask. Note I like the byrd and have one on a jointer and one on a jointer/planer. I hear the grizzly is nice also, but I wanted to get heads that shared the same inserts.

Just as an item of info, I got the Grizzly cutterhead and put it in. All parts fit exactly right, as suspected.
