I did clean the iron a bit ago. Found the words "STANLEY" a SW inside a heart, and a Made in USA. Hmmm, might be worth a dollar bill, after all.:D

Handle on the saw isn't too bad

Medallion simply says CRAFTSMAN. The wheat markings ARE carved in, not painted on.

Was the handle on the scraper plane red?

The scraper was for scraping labels off of things like fruit boxes for re use.

Are you sure the wheat is not branded in?

It is incised, either something pressed it hard into the surface, or a die to make it look incised. The lines are quite deep, however they wer placed into the wood.

Have the Stanley SW #70 all cleaned up and sharp296368and aa Eagle Brand 7, 1-1/2" wide firmer chisel is almost done, too. 296369Handle for the chisel was one I had on hand.
