Curious of other's experience switching to metric for mortises (chain and chisel) and tenons. Assuming I'll need to match any chain/chisel sets with traditional sash mortise chisels as well ... any thing else? What size do you find most versatile (and what do you make)? Also, if someone has the e-mail contact for Gerrymet could they please PM? Thanks!

I had to Google "Metric Chain and Chisel" in order to know what you are referring to.

Maybe you should mention chainsaw somewhere in the post.

I have no opinion on the question. :)

i got both to match my tooling and have only found the necklace (.54 pitch) chains in in 6mm. You need to match your sticking tooling to your mortise.

I get German tooling for metric .54 pitch and UK for imperial .89 pitch tooling.
