Just a simple police box for a friend that loves Dr. Who.
Incidentally, I'm using the BoxIt macros from laser jump start to create the box joint panels and plugs for the top and bottom.
Makes it simple and fast.

Nice!
I had the same idea and sell some on Etsy and a couple
of shops locally. These are night lights, though.

I cut out the windows and the little cupola, but didn't put a roof on
it because of the heat. I printed out the 'police call box' on vellum
and glued it inside. Looks cool in the dark. Gets a ton of favorites on
Etsy, but few sales. Whovians are active, but not rich.

How did you do your roof? Is it layers?

Ha! excellent response.
It is just an ornament. You can see the hole in the top for the cord.
I guess you have to be a Dr. Who fan to appreciate it.

Hi Chuck. Nice job on those. Yes, the roof is just layers of shrinking squares. The inner layers are hollow so that I can run a cord or something to hang it. The first top layer and bottom has the holes to form a plug for the panels.
Cheers!

Looks nice. Both of them. Though I am not a Dr Who fan I can appreciate some fan art.

I think there are laser cut plans out there for the Tardis that are a little more detailed. I think I got one off DXFProjects or DXFPlans. Maybe it was thingverse. Can't remember. Anyway, maybe a little more detail might spur sales?

You're thinking of Air Bizarre.
"It's a good airline, you buy a combination one-way round-trip ticket. ... You leave
any Monday and they bring you back the previous Friday. ...
That way, you still have the weekend. ..." Steven Wright

I do not get pay for thinking
SO I stay broke
I believe that this would be a good name for your Airline
BLOAK AIRLINE

Yes there is one on thingverse. It has extra rails on the outside and the front door sign is detached. The windows were also cut out so you could put white paper on the inside.
Definately more of a scale model and it is a little bigger and a little heavier for an ornament.
This was simple and quick and was well received. It is not a for-sale item so I'm ok with it. Cheers!
