I often marvel at how people expect to sell their items on Craigslist. Here’s a classic from today’s ABQ listings:

Vintage craftsman tool

Old craftsman tool, got it from my grandpa, he does not know what it was for so maybe someone else will find a use for it. Just give me an offer.

No picture was included...

In todays Craigslist:

DEWALT Radial Arm Saw #7730 254mms 11210villa 34350 rpm 1121Amp 60Hz

That's one haulin' fast saw! For that current I'd have to run copper tubing.

At least there was a picture of the motor tag with the correct information.

Here's some interesting old vice-grips, found these buried in the back room not long ago-- they looked like this when I used them to fix my bike when I was a kid. Pretty sure they're older than me, and I just turned 60-- Other than my dad replacing a couple of rivets with an electric wire staple many years ago, it works great. What I like is that the jaws close parallel to each other no matter their open distance.

Handle says
BMG MFG. CORP.

OTHER PATENTS PENDING
BINGHAMTON N.Y. U.S.AMERICA

Just ran a patent search, and found they are older than me!
