I have to replace the belts on my Wadkin AGS12 and need to find out what type belong on it. The existing ones do not Look like the proper size for the pulley grooves so don't want to use them for reference. The manual calls for a set of 3 Alpha 250's but I can't find anything online. Could be a Wadkin specific part #? Anyone have one of these saws that could help me out with the belt type?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

jeff Wadkin uses Brammer belts. but gates would work just fine. not sure if there A(1/2") or B(5/8") you could call Wadkin or Brammer.

Thanks Jack, the 2 A-24's are for the smaller motor. I have the 5 hp which calls for the "alpha 250" belts. The A belts seem too big but I just got another message indicating 3/8" x 25" so I may try those.

Jeff 2A is 3/8" wide 7/32" deep. 3A is 1/2" wide 5/16" thick. You should have more than enough travel in the motor mount to add an inch if you go 25" long.

OK thanks for the clarification Jack. There's not a lot of travel but I think your right that there's probably enough for an inch or so.
