View Full Version : Unknown machine part?

I recently purchased a 1969 Powermatic model 45 lathe. The seller insisted I take this part along with some other fixtures that went with the lathe.

I know this is not part of the lathe, what is it, what machine does it fit on?
It may be valuable to someone, I don't want to discard it!

This is my first post here so I will try to attach pictures of the piece.

Thanks for for your help.

It's part of a power feeder.

It's part of a power feeder.

For a shaper too, by the looks of the badge's image.

I'm no turner but I don't think lathes need a power feeder do they? I think just about any other ww'ing power tool could employ one.

It's a swing arm bracket for a Delta/Rockwell No. 43-502/43-503 Over Arm Router/Shaper.

It's not a part for a feeder though the function is the same.

Wow... that's a head on nail answer. I like that. I suppose you ARE familiar with this machine?

I've been around a few but never owned one.

I did own a Duro (Duro is the company that Delta/Rockwell bought the design from) but the Duro I had was somewhat different in design.

Thanks for identifying the part for me.
