Looks nice and clean Kelly -- especially for the price you paid. I spent more than that a few years ago on a '91 Mazda Navaho (a.k.a. Ford Explorer Sport), and it was nowhere near as clean. Ya done good.

Kelly,
I traded in my S-10 last fall and moved up to a Silverado 4 door,I needed bigger truck. That said the S-10 was a great truck. I went 60K miles on the original tires and traded it in with them still on it. You can count on getting a brake job every 25K miles other then that almost zero maint other then Oil changes.
Nice truck and a good price.

Thanks guys...I really feel like we got a great deal. I'm not sure if they checked the current value cause I couldn't find one for less than $3795 when trying to compare the price. It does have 200k miles on it, but was maintained by a mechanic the whole time.

I feel good about her getting this truck...takes a lot of weight off me....:D:D:D

Kelly, I understand that you need a mechanic to work on those things. General Motors have numerous little weasel engineers who sit in a lab somewhere in the Tech Center just dreaming up ways to fit more do-dads and thingamahickeys in that engine bay. Definitley not user friendly.

Thanks Glenn...I sure am partial to it. Now I can 'restify' it properly without spousal supervision!! :D:D:D:D

I can't work on anything past 1981...no worries though, I doubt I'll ever own anything past that date anyway.
