Here's the first pendant that I've ever turned. Got the Joyner jig today, made drawbar and was just intending on playing around with it but it turned out to be a keeper. This is one of a few tools I got for Anniversary even though my wife liked me getting something that I liked she is now happy to have the first pendant. She says now get to work on matching earrings.
This thing is gonna be fun.
i finished it with friction polish, that's all that's on the back, but I was trying to get the front to have a little deeper shine. Sprayed lacquer on it but I didn't like it so much after the fact. Think I'll stick with polish.
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

They are fun to turn, and the ladies tend to like them. I used lacquer and buffed them after the lacquer cured for a week or so. Just be sure to use very light pressure as the lacquer will melt if too much friction heat occurs. I buff on the lathe where I can use low speeds.
