Anybody want to give their opinion? I currently use a corded Milwaukee for breaking down sheet goods but I have several of the new DeWalt 20v. tools/batteries and would only have to buy a bare tool. I don't really NEED one (shh-hh..., don't repeat that), but it would be nice for portability.

Since you don't have an immediate requirement (can't say the "n" word), I'd suggest waiting until DeWalt comes out with a brushless version.

I'm kinda in the "hard wired" camp when it comes to the circular saw. Would just hate it if the batt. died in mid cut.

I have the 20v Dewalt stuff, and I use the circular saw for sheet goods occasionally... I'm like Bill in that I prefer my PC wired saw, but the 20v cordless is fully capable of cutting up a 3/4" sheet of cabinet grade stuff... Not sure how it would do on BB ply, but I suspect it would handle it fine.

Just my opinion, of course...
