My son had a small maple tree cut down that was to close to his pool. He brought me a piece of crotch section that was about 10" across. It sat in my carport for about 8 months and I finally got at it this spring. Got two small bowls out of it each about 8" across and one about 3" deep and the other 2".

My wife has a young friend getting married at the end of this month so I made this pen for the wedding album. This is the last of some deer antler my wife's cousin brought me from Alberta a couple years ago. Actually there are a few pieces left but not with this colouring.
