Hi all,
I have been having severe dryfall problems with the Magnamax 275 opaque.
I contacted Campbell and they told me the VC1671 slow retarder is a must but you cannot get it in my district.
The C161 retarder helps but at 10% it makes the satin product almost gloss. At 5% I can almost pull it off but it's hit and miss.
I may drive to a distributor outside my area to get the slow retarder (my dist actually suggested this!) but previously a poster mentioned Butyl Cellosolve?
Is this available to the consumer?
Thanks
P.S. In CA, especially in metro districts I think solvent based finishes have seen their day.
