Ok, got a procedural question. On cuts, should the "Laser through mode" be checked or not? I ran a cut test (stepped at 2.5mm/s from 5 to 15mm/s). The cuts all turned out different and odly a couple higher speed cuts cut deeper than lower ones. Is this because it might have been modulating the laser power based on the layer color?

I had each layer set to a specific speed, 100% power and Default checked so I could control the power on the LCD of the laser. The only difference between the various layers was the speed. As I said, at first the laser through mode was enabled. But i thougt that was default for cutting. Then I manually set speed and power on the machine and used the pulse button (held in ) while moving the gantry using the arrow buttons. As expected, slower speeds cut deeper than faster speeds.

So, why the difference when run manually and run via a job? Gotta be the laser through mode no? Or is there another setting I am missing?

Here is a photo of the second test. This time, all layers have through turned off.

This is the file from LaserWork 6:

Only the 15mm/s one cut through. The slower ones did not. That is counter intuitive.
