Thanks John! I have been using EEE polish/wax with no additional polish or finish. On this bowl I did experiment and before applying the EEE I polished it with... automotive rubbing compound, since bloodwood is a hard and dense wood then used the EEE.

Thanks everyone for the kudos, espically Carole and John of whom I greatly admire their artistic tallent (as I do many others whom reply regularly!). Interesting side note; we often wonder about the safety of our tools and hobby/avocation. Tonight, a super sharp knife (via the Tormek) hiding in some sudsy water is what will have limited my turning for the next few days...
