Spalted Crotch Beech Plate

I came across a nice piece of spalted beech. I had it on the lathe as a 2" thick by 8" disk and decided to part it in half. This is one half of it. It is 3/4 inches high by 8 inches in diameter, finished with Formby's tung oil finish and buffed.
