Southern Cherry

One of the local hardwood places has it for
4.00$/bdft. It looks nice, but has some streaking in it. Is this a decent price?

We pay around $5-7/bf up here in California for good Cherry since it isn't a native hardwood on the West Coast. I'm not sure if your "Southern Cherry" is much different than the cherry coming out of the Northeast... However, the devil is in the details and the observation of the wood. If it is generally nice, it seems like a decent price to me...for your area.
