Does any company make/sell spring clamps with a tip covering that won't bleed onto the wood? I know I can cover existing clamps with an auxiliary material, but if I would rather avoid this if possible. A couple of my Bessey spring clamps do bleed, but I think the tip coverings are part of the Chinese revenge plot.

The "Quick Grip" spring and bar clamps that I purchased 10-15 years ago use removable yellow flexible plastic moldings that do not bleed. More recently I purchased two Irwin "Quick Grip" bar clamps that have black flexible plastic (or possibly elastomer) moldings that are not removable. I have not used them yet to see if they bleed.
