Way to go, Mark!:) Seems to me you're getting a whole LOT of notoriety all over the place. That's super! And, as Dale T. would tell you, better than the notoriety "Spring" is getting with all those pictures at the post office and all!:D Well done, my friend!

Hey Ken, let's not forget a couple more of our own celebs, Bill Grumbine and Bob Smalser!:) I'm sure we're probably forgetting a few more, too and, my "wanted" pics at the post office don't count!:D

You're right John.....just too many here at SMC for my old brain to remember them all. Something else left about the time my hair went white....I don't remember what it was..........and now the fastest moving part of my body is my receding hairline.

I didn't mean to neglect anybody!

Boy, you are sure right about the Notoriety Mark is getting lately, John. If this trend keeps up, we may just have another "Frank Lloyd Wright" in our Midst, :D :D but that will Certainly be OK by me, as I can't think of a more deserving person to achieve this status. Not many multitalented individuals are nearly as outgoing and willing to share their ideas and knowledge with others as Mark does.

A Big Congratulations to you Mark. Just keep on doing what you Love, and Loving what you do. :)

You are all genuine freinds and I really enjoy the support of SMC, a great Forum with very talented and helpful people! I feel it is important to convey the importance of design. As I look back it is the one thing of have focused on , and over the years it has paid off.

I have stressed design in furniture as well....the best crafstmanship is only limited by the quality of the design....and the quality of design is without limits.
It is well worth the extra thought and attention to detail to elevate our projects to a higher level. This is true no matter where you are ability wise as a crafstman. Crafstmanship will come from doing and making mistakes, I have and still make plenty of mistakes......the key is to do....make things and when you do start with your best design. A good place to begin is with the function and the nature of things....how we live....the human form and your own interpretation of these ideas....it all begins with design...
