LOML informed me that her family decided to "make" gifts this year for each other. And today she diecided that "we' would be making birhouses for everyone..so i am looking for the "perfect birdhouse' project. Nice, but not too intricate, I am thinking ai will need to make about 10-15 of them.....

Hey Tim, you gonna turn them? I got some cute plans for turned ones. Not to time consuming either. Let me know I'll get you the plans. regards

How 'bout bat houses instead? That should make the family sit up and pay attention! Despite the horror-movie silliness, bats are darn good animals to have around. They eat flying bugs like mosquitos. www.batcon.org has plans for several different sizes, and mouting methods.

Hi Tim, you might try this link (http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/backyard/construction/basic_songbird.htm) You might see if your state has something like it.
