Got an ad from Amazon this morning for a Rockwell table saw finisher attachment (This is the new Rockwell Co.).

It looks like a power planer set on its side and attached to a table saw. Apparently, the Rockwell portable TS has bolt holes in the top for it. A bit strange, but somehow I wonder how well it works.

I doubt it will be on the market too long, what with the planer blades exposed as they are.

Looks like it actually has somewhat reasonable guards, the "exposed planer blades" appear to actually be rollers.

Looking at the pic on amazon, the blades are visible between them.
