Now that Hurricane Laser is no longer in business, can anyone advise me on where I will be able to find parts once I need them.

Thank you

This is my 2nd post to Sawmill Creek on this subject. Sorry if it is a repeat, I think my first one was deleted as I posted my website.

I am assuming its a Chinese made machine, Automation Technology a advertiser should have some parts otherwise LightObject dot com carries a large number of replacement parts.

Hi,

I thought they just had to change their name due to legal battles with fslaser.com got the right to the domain name. Here is their new site. It looks like it's still in working order.

Yes, pretty sure. Here's the email I received on June 11th. I removed all references to websites and phone numbers.

To all of
our customers, prospects and vendors we would like to thank you for your
support these past 3 years. As most of you know John has been in a prolonged
legal battle with John’s former employer Full Spectrum Laser. While John did
not have a non compete or any other contractual duties to Full Spectrum the
legal costs continued to mount. A default judgment was entered in the case,
when our attorneys withdrew from the case, because we did not have additional
monies to continue fighting the lawsuit.

We have
closed Hurricane Lasers due to all the legal issues with Full Spectrum and the
ongoing cost of litigation. As part of that decision, Bankruptcy has been
sought to dismiss the default judgment for failure to continue to fight the
lawsuits. The assets are in the hands of the Bankruptcy Trustee and if
the business is purchased by an entity, they will acquire the customers and
support as well.

The
technical support team is willing to personally help customers with minor
issues. The website will stay up for downloads and updates as long as the
trustee allows. Place a support ticket on the site and someone will get back to
you. CNCZone.com and SawmillCreek.org are forums that provides help from
other laser users and the technical support team will be using these forums as
well to help hurricane customers.

In addition,
the following people have agreed to assist customers with their ongoing needs.
Please note that there may be a charge for their services as they are not
employed or contracted with Hurricane Lasers which is now closed.
