Trim bits

I have noticed that my edge trim bits from Freud are the exact size of the bearing, while the ones from Rockler have bits slightly smaller than the bearing...they don't quite do a flush trim.


Anyone else had this problem?

I have seen it a few times, even with Freud. Every manufacturing process has to have a tolerance. Most of the time they nail it, sometimes they don’t.
You could probably return it to Rockler if it is unacceptable.

I agree. A flush bit should be flush. Anything else should be replaced without question. Even the best makers can have one slip through.
