Potbelly Maple Bowl

Another bowl from the golf course. This one got away from me a little. It resembles my physique too much. The area above the foot is close to parallel to the floor and doesn't rise up quickly enough for me. The volume inside the bowl is quite large and would be quite useful to hold large quantities of whatever. The bowl measures 15" across and about 5" in height. Finish is oil and lacquer. Comments and Critiques always welcome.

I see what you mean about the shape but think that it is a nice bowl anyway. Pretty wood, nice finish and the added details are great.

Naaah..........that ain't potbelly...........that is more of a nice ogee! Another beauty, Bob............nice touch on those beads below the rim on the outside and your base is very well done, not to mention the natural beauty of the wood.
