Does anyone have a particular app they like to use for Android phones or do you just use your browser?

LOL, we must have had a similar experience. I gave up on it, Chrome browser on your android will work just fine without an app.

I can't view attachments with the browser on my android but I can see embedded pictures.

May want to try Chrome rather than the preinstalled browser, it's a different ap.

Virtually all of my interaction with smc is via my android Acer tablet running chrome. I just keep a icon on the home screen and up it comes

Thanks for the tip Steve. I thought the Android browser was Chrome, but didn't really pay much attention to it until now. Verizon must load their own browser. Phone keeps search history updated across all my Chrome browsers (home, work). Maybe that's a Google thing, not a Chrome thing. Now that I dig into it a bit, I can't find one detail that tells me what the browser is on the phone.

Going back and forth between Chrome regular view of the forum (if I need to see pictures) and mobile view (bottom left corner of forum that shows view styles).

My only internet phone is a work phone, and I'm not going to order pay apps on it.

... I thought the Android browser was Chrome,

I just came across a quick news article about the upcoming Google I/O (Google tech conference). There was a side bar mentioning that the new version of Android (4.5) code named Lollipop, is to integrate the Chrome browser with Android. ....I wonder how that reconciles against Microsoft having to split IE out of Windows... Maybe because they call Chrome an OS instead of a browser, they can slide by the European courts...

I'm a little slow, that's why my tablet came with Safari initially too. Lightbulb!

I use FR to access the forum. Don't like it as well as TapaTalk, but SMC isn't setup for TaT.
It comes up just fine with the stock Android browser, in-line and attachments included.
