I need to replace one, BSL15X. 18 V 1.4Ah. I have found one at BigSky @ $70. I'm assuming it is a factory battery. I have found some e-bay cheaper but do not know if these are "compatible" types or real Hitachi. Lots of experts here on Sawmill, can you advise? I'm new to the tool and woodworking hobby.

I bought from Big Sky reconditioned in the past and I never had any problems with their grade A reconditioned products. You could buy their 18 v drill/flashlight kit that cones with two batteries, charger, drill, and flashlight for $90. This combo is the same batteries I believe as you need. They also have the same combo in C grade for $70. It might be worth considering since one battery is $70 alone.

We have a battery rebuild store here in town. You may have one also. It may be a cheaper way to go.
