Sycamore Bowl with beaded exterior. Around 7" (18 cm) across. Finished with waterborne lacquer.

Another nice looking bowl Eric, I have not turned Sycamore yet though have always enjoyed the look of the grain.

Thanks, this was an unusual thing for me to cover the bowl with beads. Normally I avoid a lot of details as I view them as hard to clean when used on a daily basis, but finally had to give it a try.

Great job on the beads. Not easy as each one must be cut on a different angle tangent to the surface. They appear to be increasing in size. I did one, but didn't care for sanding each bead?

Nice job. Did you do each bead by "hand" or did you use a beading tool? If so, which one?

The beads are identical in size, I used a d-way beading tool.

I did almost no sanding on the beads
