Great suggestion, I have a 1/2 roll of the aluminum trim and also was looking for a low cost, easy way to engrave on ceramic tile.

Stan they look nice but you seem to have a lot of banding in them.

Generally the banding is caused by an inconsistency in the artwork as opposed to your driver settings.
What dpi are you running at? Make sure the image you're engraving is the same dpi as what you've got set in the driver.

I tried lasering some aluminium composite yesterday. I noticed it was a little bit patchy .e.g; the anodize or paint was not fully removed. I did it with 100% power 100% speed. Is it better to do two passes or slow the speed down? I have mainly done cutting and "easy" engraving. I am keen to try some more.

Cheers
