Air Nozzle

I receive some Air Nozzles the other day. My question what Lenses I would use them with. I attempted to use the long one but the laser wasn't working properly. any Ideas are greatly appreciated.

I take it these all all for the Trotec. I think that the one on the left is for a 2" lens, then a 1.5", then a 4.0" lens. I shouldn't guess as some of the members have all three lenses and can tell you with authority.

Your guess is better than mine. I used the 4.0" with my 2.85 lens and it just didn't work well

I use the middle one for 1.5", 2". I use the left one for 2.5", and I don't own the one on the right, but I assume that would work for the 4". Only issue you should see with any of them is a loss of power if it's the wrong cone for that lens, because the beam will clip the inside of the cone if it's the wrong one.

It shows the relative focusing for the different size lenses.

A method that I use is:
1. Install a nozzle.
2. Measure from the focus lens to the material and put the material at focus on the top
3. Fire the laser so that a spot appears
4. Without moving the material, unscrew the nozzle and fire the laser
If the spot moves then there is internal reflection on the nozzle.
The internal reflection can be caused by the wrong size nozzle, of an uncentered laser beam.
