I haven't bought any CA glue for a while, and cannot find the paperwork to locate my past source. I remember that I was able to get different viscosities, and I am partial to the very thin stuff. Also, I was able to buy it in 16 oz. bottles. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks,

I use Starbond very frequently.........the club I belong to buys in bulk and they have what is known as Superfast Thin.........and other viscosities as well. I have really liked the medium from HoldFast as well............it really works well to help fill cracks, etc with sawdust and when I use different woods to bring contrast to a form.......it really allows me the right amount of time to get the joinery and not waste time waiting to dry.......I do use accelerator as well for these times, and my results have been good.

Good luck!

+1 for Starbond. They sell several viscosities and even some semi-flexible medium that I use to bond stainless steel ring inserts to a wood exterior. The thin makes a great finish. They ship quickly and their service is great.

Woodcraft carries Titebond (I don't like it) and the Satellite City brand - much better but I've been using the 2P-10 CAs from Fast Cap.
Good product with an assortment of viscosities and volumes.

Fred, exoticblanks.com (http://www.exoticblanks.com) has E-Z Bond CA of different viscosities. When you go to their website it will be listed on the left under Wooden Wonders CA glue. They have various sizes of thin, medium and thick. The largest is 16 oz for about $28. I've used it for pens and bowls for over 5 years. Very happy with the brand and with their accelerator.

Thanks for the replies to my query about CA glue. I have placed an order and the vendor says that it is on the way... I hadn't been turning for quite a while as there have been a lot of earthmoving jobs backing up due to the long Winter here. In fact, some days it feels like Winter is back as the sunshine has been scarce and the temps have been unseasonably cool. But the shop is warm and comfortable.
