Finally got my Entertainment center done. Cherry with Penn Cherry stain and 4 coats of poly. Plenty of component and DVD storage. It stands 61" tall. I'm happy with it, but the contrast of the TV color and the Cherry bothers me somewhat. Please be gentle. LOL

Great job, Jalin. The design is super. I share your frustration when it comes to the limited availability of colors with modern tv's. Pretty hard to match a colonial or antique design with brushed stainless steel.:( Yours looks great.

Great job!

You might want to look at the thread that Mark Singer posted not long ago that shows the facia he created to "cover up" the factory finish of his display system. It would also work in a project like this and is easy to do. Making the panels removable is also easy...velcro.

Jalin.....why should we be gentle? It looks great! Trying to blend modern design with beautiful wood can be a challenge! Great work!
