Chinese Tradition Hand tool woodworking? Looking for the videos about making that Jack plane? Used to have it, now it is MIA. Don't care about the talking part, just need the visuals. Have the body for one about ready to go, for a 2" wide iron.
Also, do I just flatten two sides of a dowel for the bar? Have some stock for the wedge ready to cut down, too. Just would like to see where the cuts are, and how he makes them. Might get a new hacksaw blade for this job:eek: but that is what worked the best on the edge plane for me. Do have a couple coping saws as well,
Chisel? Welllllll, I'll make do with what I have on hand. A tool box arrived the other day, with a few handtools inside, stuff from the old shop. Did find a couple almost brand new wood rasps, though:D and they MIGHT come in handy.
Floats? Not really. Might cobble up one IF I need to. Have a supply of old bandsaw blades I can gang 12" long sections into a "float"
So, IF one has the site I can watch??
