I have no idea, but it may be easier to find someone with a wide belt sander.

I can't imagine any one or any shop "renting" time per say. I could see a shop doing some sanding for you but allowing someone into your shop and unleashing them on a piece of your equipment would seem like the worst idea ever.

Really? I've used shops in this way in Tennessee. The owner of the shop has always helped me run tables through.

I have 37" wide belt sander but making 12' maple counter top and my sander not up to the final sanding task. Took to shop and they charged me 21$ for 20 minutes of time on their dual head wbs. Sounded Like Was Common Thing For Their shop. I was happy to pay it......hardest part was turning over to guy while I had to kill 30 minutes of time.

I have an 8 ft x 34" cherry table top that slipped a little in glue up so it just needs to be flattened.

I'd start googling "cabinet shop" and cold calling until you find a player.

There is exactly the place you are looking for

Looks like their website is having some issues

Not St Paul, but a short drive. Saw it advertised at the local Rockler store. Never been there though.

Thanks, I saw that place too and saw their site is acting up. That's the place I need.
