This is the first and smallest piece of maple our club harvested from a golf course. It is about 5" across and 6 1/2" high. Finished with two coats of oil and two of Mohawk lacquer. It's about 3/16" thick throughout.

Beautiful bowl, looks like it's on fire. Nicely done.

That's and amazing piece of work on an outstandingly beautiful piece of wood. Cutting curly Maple that thin is not a easy thing to do

Very nice piece. The barkless natural edge works well with all the amazing grain and finish. Don't you wish there was more of that wood available.

We harvested most of a 20+" tree. I will be posting some bigger ones soon, but this piece does display the grain quite well.
