My mother-in-law's golf group is interested in me etching some wine glasses for their yearly event. I've done several pint glasses before, but never a wine glass. Is there anything I should know about etching on the thinner glass? And does anyone have a favorite glass to use or a source (besides The WEBstaurant Store)?

Thanks. I like their Aurora Alto glass, but they do not have an option on their site to register for an account or even contact them via email. I'll give them a call later today, but in this day and age, not having an email contact on your site is just wrong.

I get the Libby glasses at Wally World. Decent quality and laser pretty well. Use the 70-80% gray instead of black.

Keith...it is a shame we aren't coming up on April 1. This would be a great opportunity to use your laser to help bring dribble glasses back from obscurity.

Riedel.com?

Of course, to be really pure about it you need to know what type of wine they will drink in them so you can match the wine glass to the wine type.

Agreed... if they want the snooty feel to it, they'll need to match glass with beverage.
