Used jet 15 inch planer

Im looking at a used jet 15 inch planer its about 13 years old jwp15cs is asking 650 , do you think this is a fair price or what should I offer for this I currently have a dewalt dw735 want something bigger im doing more planning now ..thanks

As you probably guessed, it depends. What condition is it in? Rust? Blades? Bearings? If it's in really great shape that's a reasonable price. I got my HO model (older) for about 350 but it had surface rust and needed blades and an overhaul.

I just sold mine for $800 and it was in very good condition. probably about 10 years old.
