View Full Version : What's the caster stud size on a Performax 16-32?

I picked up a used 16-32 a bit ago and I'd like to add casters to it. When I've searched through threads most of the casters that people list seem to have studs that are around 1/2", but when I measured the bolts on the feet on my sander they're 3/8". Those who have added casters, does a 1/2" stud fit ok or would I have to drill out the hole to make 1/2" fit? Or should I look for casters with 3/8" studs?

Thanks for the help.

I added casters to the 16-32 Performax I bought used. You need to use 3/8" studs or you will have to drill the legs. I found some nice casters at Woodcraft, ran me about $47 for four. I got them on sale.

These are the ones I used. They work well.
