Hello there:

I'm interested in engraving unsaturated polyester resin and adding a color fill. I'm phoning it in and want to take a closer look later when I get to a laptop, but thought I would get a conversation started here for anyone with thoughts or experience.

Thanks!

Hi Matt, Can you give some examples of the polyester. Brand specifics etc. There are a lot of different formulations. Anything with a meds would help.
thx Marty

I engrave on it.. fill afterwards. It works. What are you looking to find out?

Yeah, they work fine. Those are usually a poured laminating resin, either a styrene and
polyester mix, or sometimes a urethane resin. But they laser about the same.
