I have been looking for plans for a heavy duty directors style chair. So far my searches have come up empty. I would like to make a couple of these to use at craft shows and also to have around the shop area for guests to have a prominent place to sit :) I would like to make a couple from black walnut and a little wider and nicer than these photos :) Of course I would add a Bud Light holder in the arm.

Has anyone seen one of these some where -

I am not CAD smart nor do I have CAD software. So I am stuck to either find the plans or hand generate my own (which I don't want to attempt)

Roger,

Thanks. That is very similiar I want straight arms and wooden seat - not cloth which makes the fold up mechanism slightly different.

Hi Ken,

Do you have dimentions for the chair in the picture and know what sizes you want enalrged? Maybe one of the CAD skilled here can take the pics and the dimentions you want and make you a set of plans. (Todd Birch (sp)?)

Unfortunately I'm not that person. :(
