I have this little cabin in the high desert. It has an outhouse which is built to take a portable toilet back and forth from home.
Any recommendations on which brand might be best? It has to be large enough to last a weekend, but small enough to carry.
Thanks,

Not the cheapest option, but it's well made and works as advertised.

Would local code allow you to put in a pit type outhouse and just leave everything there.:)
Trouble I've seen with composting and inciniolet type toilets is that the're are rated for a certain number of users per period of time. May not be a problem for your use but I know it wouldn't work for my deer camp.

We've had a thetford for many years of tent camping, it has been great. Easy to manage, ease to clean. They make several models, we just have the basic $70 unit.
