So I got this parallelogram jointer 7 or 8 years ago, however due to circumstances, it sat unused. I did have a chance to run a board thru and check tables when it first arrived and frankly, I was not impressed with either check, so I used another jointer.
After years of neglect, I finally decided it was time to devote some time to this machine.
The tables somehow flattened over time, so I was thrilled. I watched The Woodwhisperer's video on adjusting the PJ882, then went at it. About 4 hours later, I did a few test cuts and needless to say, I'm overjoyed with the results. There's no lite between two jointed boards and the gap to my Veritas straight edge is less than a .001 feeler gage. I've already jointed a reference flat 3 1/4" thick and 7 1/2" wide, that I use as a clamp form for my glued up sled fences. I'm finally very happy with this jointer. Just thought I'd share my joy.

I wish I had your patience. :)
It's almost like finding a lot of money under your couch cushions.
