I just replaced the power supply in my 100 Watt LaserWorld machine. The laser now works but only in pulses. No continuous beam. I made a video showing a pattern that the machine is supposed to cut and what it ACTUALLY is doing now to demonstrate. Any ideas? Please excuse the background music!

Thanks!

What brand is it? I had a laser do that once, and I had to slow down the cutting speed, and reduce power to under 80% load.

clark - it is a laswer world th9060. i will try lowering the speed and power and see what happens. the chinese got back to me and thought that maybe the power supply hot wire wasn't connecting well to the tube. when i started trying to unwrap the electrical tape at the tube connection i got zapped! nothing too strong but obviously not part of the plan. gonna unwrap it, redo connection, and rewrap with lots of tape. make sure the ground wires are secure as well, obviously. any other ideas?
