Extra Large "Super" Dovetail Jaws
for the Hurricane HTC125 - 4 Jaw Scroll Chuck

This listing is for a set of "Extra" Large Dovetail jaws, which are used on the Hurricane HTC125 4 Jaw Woodturning Scroll Chuck. These are possibly the heaviest jaws available for a standard 4 jaw chuck. They are suitable for 16" and larger bowls on a heavy full-size lathe.
They can be used in compression mode for gripping a tenon or expansion mode for internal holding within a dovetail recess.

Measurements:
Closed: 5" = interior, 6 7/8" = exterior
Open: 6 7/8 " = interior, 8 1/2 " = exterior

Reeds not the only one to focus first on the Robust:D But you are right, those are some BIG jaws. So, what size tree are you going to be turning?

I can turn 30" x 78". I was talking to the guy who got me into turning and he was telling me about a local guy who turns stuff that big. The turns the outside to shape, then cuts the log into 4 or 5 section, hollows each section, then glues them all together and does a finish turning. That sounds like fun to me☺
