I am looking to purchase a second laser by the end of summer. I am looking at perhaps speedy 300 with 100 or 120 watt tube. Or something similarly powered from one of the big 3.
I am getting a 2 car garage built and I wanted to know what power requirements I needed to tell the electrician to allow for to power my larger machine.
Thanks!

At that power level, you'll want 240V... 80W is the upper limit for 120V, and that requires a 20A plug/socket.

Hey Josh, I have just passed a year with my Speedy 300 100watt. It has changed my business to say the least. This machine is a beast and fast as hell. Make sure you have plenty of friends over when you get the machine because it is very heavy. And it is a 240v machine you will also need a 120v receptacle for the Atmos air filter if you went with that combo like we did. Good luck.

220 VAC 20Amp.
6-20 P receptacle.
