Today while vector cutting mylar, the machine just came to a stop.
This is a vector pattern that I have cut hundreds of time so I did not feel it was software related.
So, I wheeled the machine outside, removed both side panels and the attachment at the rear of the machine where the exhaust goes.
Brought out the air hose and began a 2 hour cleaning process. I normally clean my machine every day and remove and vacuum, the area by the side doors every weekend.
I was amazed at how much dust had built up towards the rear by the exhaust. This is the first time in 22 months of ownership that I have done such a thorough cleaning. I discovered a sliver of mylar wedged in the flexible material in the gantry area.
So my point being, as much maintenance that I do on a weekly basis, I was amazed to find so much dust and bits of matter towards the rear of the machine.
Just my 2 cents on how important a clean machine is.
