Here is my take on a circle jig for bowls. Just install on the pin and slide the jig to the blade.
If you don’t want to start at the edge of the blank you can knock out a small block for the blade to slide into.

Two tee nuts were installed from the bottom for pins. These were 1/4” which is pretty large; I will probably add two more 1/8” or less. You can screw in any length pin you wish. If you use a pin chuck you can make a bushing for the guide pin and drill your hole in the wood prior to rounding. I set my pins at 3” and 8”.

The light steel runners underneath are to keep the table from tilting up with a really large piece. I left about 1/16" play sideways and between the runner and table to let it slide easily.

The only downside is drawing converging lines to the hole in order to see it easily when installing. The pin I use was only exposed about 3/8” but was easy to locate with the lines and a flash light.

Great idea. as soon as I finish rebuilding my band saw, I'll be building one too.
